Multi-Stage Wake vs Backup Alarm

Multi-Stage Wake (In-App Feature)

What it does:

Gradually escalates the alarm while the app is open and the alarm is ringing.

Progressive stages:

  • 0s: Volume 30%, No Haptics
  • 5s: Volume 60%
  • 10s: Volume 60% + Haptics Start
  • 20s: Volume 100% + Strong Haptics
  • How it works:

  • Only works when you tap the notification and the alarm screen is displayed
  • Gradually increases volume and haptics intensity
  • Designed to gently wake you up, then get more aggressive if you don't respond
  • Requires Pro for stages beyond "louder" (haptics and max volume)
  • Key limitation:

Only works in-app - if you don't open the app, it does nothing.

    Backup Alarm (Notification-Based Feature)

    What it does:

Sends 30 additional notifications every 10 seconds if you don't dismiss the first one.

    How it works:

  • Pre-schedules 30 notifications when you save the alarm
  • Starts 30 seconds after the main alarm
  • Continues every 10 seconds for ~5 minutes
  • Works even if the app is closed or in the background
  • Key advantage:

Persistent nagging - keeps ringing even if you ignore the first notification. No need to open the app.
